Highly specialized competences and targeted efficient services are the strengths that allow us to be a competitive and reliable partner for your hazardous/non-hazardous waste recovery and contaminated land treatment needs.
Over the years, we've implemented projects and employed dedicated technologies to recover waste and generate end of waste materials End of Waste (i.e., materials no longer considered waste, since they become products). Such materials can be used, for instance, to fill trenches and build roads. Ostellato Ambiente recovery activities are truly precious for our territory to contrast soil consumption, and thus help to preserve virgin areas, and slow down the ongoing erosion.
25,000 m2 site:
a large area with many services
Our S.Giovanni di Ostellato (FE) multifunctional plant deals with the processing
and storage of hazardous and non-hazardous waste belonging to more than 130 EWL (European Waste List) codes.
The site extends over a surface of 24,800 m2, comprising a 6,000 m2
indoor area with industrial buildings for waste storage/treatment
and utility rooms, 9,500 m2 of technical and road areas, and 9,300 m2 of green planted areas.
Fully complying with current regulations, Ostellato Ambiente is classified as a multifunctional processing (R5/R12/D8/D9/D13/D14) and storage (R13/D15) plant for hazardous and non-hazardous waste
(Sections 5.1 and 5.3 of Annex VIII to Part Two of Legislative Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments and additions).
The maximum processing capacity amounts to 111,500 tons/year, of which 25,000 tons/year of hazardous waste, and the maximum storage capacity amounts to 90,000 tons/year, of which 22,000 tons/year of hazardous waste.
Future investments include the refurbishment of the service and sub-service area, and
the construction of enclosures to process the quantities set forth by the AIA.
